The Evils of Abortion

Barring few exceptions where Jewish law demands that we save the life of the mother, the Torah is clear about Judaism’s position on abortion. It is a vile act that has been described as outright murder by great Rabbis from time immemorial until today. A society that protects the life of the baby in the womb says much about its values. Abortion is a sign of societal sickness.
